Description
Wizard Card Game is the ultimate classic trick taking game where winning tricks is the easy part. The real challenge is predicting how many tricks you will win each round. Players must win exactly as many tricks as they bid. The entire game builds round by round, in the first round each player gets one card, and each subsequent round adds one more from the sixty-card deck. BID SMART. PLAY SHARP. WIN BIG. The sixty-card deck combines traditional playing cards across four suits with Wizard and Jester cards. One or more Wizards played means wizard wins, first Wizard played wins the trick. Players played Jesters lose to any suited card, but if only Jesters are played, first Jester wins. Follow suit when possible. Highest trump wins the trick, and suit led wins when no trump suit is in play. Player determines the next trick from remaining cards. Players tally scores after each round across multiple rounds. Player matched their bid exactly scores 20 points plus 10 points per trick won. Player missed their bid loses 10 points per trick over or under. Highest score wins. For 2 to 6 players. Ages 10 and up.
